UAB Bowling Announces 2021-22 Schedule

BIRMINGHAM – UAB bowling head coach Michelle Crews has announced the 2021-22 schedule. The schedule features three matches in the fall and six in the spring.
The Blazers return seven from last year's squad and welcome two newcomers.
During the pre-season, the Blazers were picked to finish fifth in the MEAC, behind North Carolina A&T State, Delaware State, Maryland Eastern Shore and Monmouth.
The Green and Gold open the fall season at the Dezy Strong Classic in Farmingdale, N.Y. from Friday, Oct. 29 through Sunday, Oct. 31. UAB then travels to Baltimore, Md. on Nov. 13-14 for the first MEAC conference match of the season hosted by Coppin State.
The Blazers round out the fall slate at the Hornet Classic in Montgomery, Ala., Nov. 19-12.
After the holiday break, UAB picks up in January with the Pioneer Quest in Greeneville, Tenn Jan. 28-30. The Blazers will head back to Tennessee Feb. 4-6 for the Railsplitter Classic.
The second MEAC conference match comes Feb. 19-20 in Norfolk, Va. hosted by Norfolk State. The last regular season competition is held in Smyrna, Tenn. for the Columbia 300 Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt.
Postseason tournaments begin with the USBC Sectionals on March 11-13, followed by the MEAC Championships March 25-27.
