Nick Robillard Named Conference USA Golfer of the Week

BIRMINGHAM – For winning his first collegiate tournament and leading the UAB men's golf team to the team title at the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate, junior Nick Robillard has been named Conference USA Golfer of the Week.
After redshirting last season, Robillard opened his 2020-21 season on fire en route to shooting a collegiate career low 207 (-9) and winning the tournament by four strokes. The Blazers shot -21 as a team and won the event by 14 strokes.
"I am really happy for Nick," said head coach Mike Wilson. "It's a great honor to be named C-USA Golfer of the Week. He played great golf this week and I am excited to see what lies ahead for Nick."
Robillard opened the tournament by tying his collegiate career low with a five-under 67. He then fired a four-under 68 in the second round and an even par 72 in the final round to cruise to his first title. Robillard led the event wire-to-wire.
This is Robillard's first time winning Conference USA Golfer of the Week.
The Blazers are back on the course next Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 21-22 at the Scenic City Classic hosted by Chattanooga at The Honors Course.
