UAB’s Homecoming Kickoff Against UTSA Set for 11:30 a.m. CST

BIRMINGHAM – UAB football's Homecoming game against UTSA on Oct. 3 will kick at 11:30 a.m. CST, the two schools announced on Wednesday.
The 11:30 a.m. window will maximize UAB's TV exposure for that game, which will be aired by Stadium with clearance on the regional sports networks now owned by Sinclair Broadcast.
In one of the great new traditions in all of college football, the Blazers will once again honor Children's Harbor on Homecoming by wearing their alternate gray and lime uniforms with the names of patients on the back of the jerseys.
UAB is 3-0 against UTSA since returning to action in 2017. The last time UAB hosted the Roadrunners at Legion Field, the Blazers set a school record with 668 yards of total offense in a 52-3 victory.
The Homecoming game on Oct. 3 will also mark UAB's earliest kickoff in the last four years.
Season tickets remain on sale for the 2020 starting as low as $75. Purchasing season tickets will help build priority for Protective Stadium which UAB will call home in 2021. Click here to purchase season tickets, or click here for single game tickets.
