UAB Athletics Update on Affected Spring Event Cancellations

Later this week, fans who have purchased tickets for UAB Athletics events canceled due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), will receive an email notifying them of the refund process for affected spring 2020 events. Conference USA Board of Directors unanimously voted to cancel all spring sport competitions and championships earlier this week. Conference USA had previously announced that spring sports were suspended until further notice, but the decision to cancel all spring sports was made on March 16.
The UAB Athletics Ticket Office will begin to refund ticket holders that purchased game tickets through UAB for any 2020 spring sport competition after March 12. You have two options for the balance on your tickets, which you can choose by replying to us via email at tickets@uab.edu.
Credit card refunds will be completed by March 31, 2020 and can take a few business days to post once your refund is processed. For any questions regarding your ticket purchase or refund, please contact the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at tickets@uab.edu.
In addition, the UAB Athletics Ticket Office will be available remotely and our ticket representatives are still able to assist you via phone and email. Please see the options below to contact the UAB Athletics Ticket Office during this time:

- Gift the remaining value to support Blazer student-athletes through a tax-deductible gift through Blazer Boosters.
- Request a refund, which is the default option and will take place on March 27 if we do not receive a response from you.

- Email – The fastest way to get in contact with the UAB Athletics Ticket Office is by emailing tickets@uab.edu. Email is being monitored in real time and ensures a quick response.
- Phone – The main line (205) 975-UAB1 (8221) is available for fans to call and leave a message. Ticket representatives are working remotely during this time and will return voicemails in a timely manner during normal business hours of 9:00 AM through 5:00 PM. Your personal sales rep is also working remotely and can be contacted directly by utilizing the UAB Athletics Staff Directory.
- Mail – Mail will be picked up and processed but not on a daily basis during this time. The most efficient way to renew or purchase tickets is online at uabsports.com/tickets.
- The UAB Athletics Box Office will be closed for in person purchases until further notice. Please stay tuned to uabsports.com and @UAB_Athletics for additional information as it becomes available.
- Email – The fastest way to get in contact with the Blazer Boosters office is by emailing blazerboosters@uab.edu. Email is being checked regularly.
- Phone – The main line (205) 996-9969 is available for fans to reach out.
- Online – The most efficient way to support UAB Athletics and Blazer student-athletes is by giving online. For more information, visit blazerboosters.com.
