Johnson Named MEAC Bowler of the Week

BIRMINGHAM –Junior Samantha Johnson has been named the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) Bowler of the Week, the league office announced for the week of March 8-14.
The Apopka, Fla. native finished third in the Columbia 300 Music City Classic after an average of 225 in traditional play. Johnson totaled 1,125 pins in five traditional games with a weekend high of 257
Johnson is the third Blazer to win MEAC Bowler of the Week this season, joining Taylor Russell and Annie Hurley. She also notched four top-10 finishes this season including two All-Tournament teams.
