BIRMINGHAM – It has been exactly 11 months since Brasfield & Gorrie was awarded the full contract as the General Contractor of Protective Stadium, and their rapid progress has kept the timeline on pace for UAB Football's new home in 2021.
In November alone, the project has kicked into high gear with the stadium beginning to take clear shape. Below are some of the highlights throughout the past month.

Fans will select their specific ticket locations during the 2021 UAB Football priority seat selection process which begins in April of 2021. All support for UAB Athletics completed by the April 1, 2021 priority seat deadline will earn priority points, and each patron will be given a personal appointment time to select their seats at Protective Stadium.
As a reminder, the UAB Department of Athletics will continue to host Protective Stadium Virtual Town Halls to educate fans on what to expect leading into the new stadium. The next Town Hall is scheduled for Dec. 9 at 5 p.m. and fans can sign up by clicking here.
