Blazers Launch 2019 UAB Football Commercial

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB Department of Athletics has launched the 2019 UAB Football commercial, which will run on television throughout the duration of upcoming college football season.
This year's concept, centered around the Athletic Department's #WinAsOne campaign, features UAB's 2018 championship highlights being displayed throughout historical landmarks in Birmingham.
The commercial ends with a captivating shot of hundreds of people standing behind a UAB football player with the Birmingham skyline in the background, signifying that the entire city of Birmingham is behind UAB Football.
The Blazers are 43 days away from their 2019 title defense. UAB opens the season on Thursday, Aug. 29, at Legion Field versus Alabama State. Kickoff on ESPN+ plus is slated for 7 p.m.
Season tickets and mini plans are on sale now and can be purchased by clicking here or by calling the UAB Athletics Ticket Office at 205-975-UAB1. Fans can also request more information on ticket options for the upcoming season here. Discounted group tickets and fan experiences are available for a minimum purchase of 20 tickets to any home football game.
