Third Annual UAB Football Helmets and Heels set for July 19

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB football program, in conjunction with the UAB National Alumni Society, is set to host the third annual Helmets and Heels coaching clinic on Friday, July 19, at the Football Operations Center.

Led by FWAA National Coach of the Year Bill Clark and his staff, Helmets and Heels is a "Football 101" clinic that provides unique insight into the game of football.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and other activities include chalk talks, player and parent panels, football drills, an overview of recruiting, strength and conditioning activities, a photo booth with Coach Clark and much more.

Participants are encouraged to wear athletic gear and sneakers for the event. Registration is open to all genders and is $30 per person, while a discounted rate of $20 is available for current UAB students.
