UAB Football to Commemorate 2018 Season with Collectable Painting

BIRMINGHAM – The 2018 UAB football championship season will be commemorated throughout Birmingham and in college football's most prestigious locations with a collectable painting made by world-class artist Steve Skipper.
With all of the iconic moments that happened during UAB's 2018 season, this collectable painting frames the Blazers' first trophy celebration at Legion Field. Included below the painting is a UAB football medallion and a synopsis outlining UAB's return to prominence.
The official reveal of the painting takes place on July 28 at the Birmingham Museum of Art. The painting will be displayed throughout the city of Birmingham, including the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame, and will reach the national stage by being displayed at the College Football Hall of Fame.
"When thinking of how we could commemorate our 2018 championship season, the opportunity to work alongside someone as talented as Steve Skipper to frame an iconic moment with a painting was a no-brainer," said head coach Bill Clark. "We are thrilled that this piece of art will be displayed throughout Birmingham and nationwide at college football's most historic landmarks."
