Conference USA Announces UAB’s Full Television Schedule for 2019

BIRMINGHAM - Conference USA has announced UAB's full broadcast schedule for the 2019 season which is highlighted by two games on NFL Network and every contest being broadcast throughout the season.
After recently revealing its partnership with NFL Network, the Blazers will appear on the station twice, beginning with UAB's Sept. 21 home game versus South Alabama. The Blazers will then play on NFL Network Nov. 9 at Southern Miss. Both games will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CST, and one Conference USA game will be featured at that time every week throughout the season beginning Sept. 7.
UAB opens the season on ESPN+ against Alabama State on Aug. 29, and the Blazers' first road game of the season at Akron will air on CBS Sports Network nine days later. The game on Sept. 7 kicks at noon local time and 11 a.m. CST.
The season finale at North Texas will air on Stadium at 3 p.m. CST, and that game features each of the last two West Division champions paired against each other.
UAB will play on ESPN+ six times in 2019. Including Alabama State, the ESPN+ schedule includes at WKU (Sept. 28), Rice (Oct. 5), at UTSA (Oct. 12), Old Dominion (Oct. 19), and Louisiana Tech (Nov. 23). Additionally, the Blazers play one game on ESPN3 against UTEP on Nov. 16.
The Blazers' TV selection at Tennessee on Nov. 2 will be announced 12 days before that game is played.
UAB looks to defend its Conference USA title in 2019 and is coming off its best season in program history in which the Blazers finished 11-3 overall and won the Cheribundi Boca Raton Bowl.
