UAB Falls to Rice 4-0

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB men's tennis team fell, 4-0, to Rice in its final match of the Conference USA Showcase on Saturday in Houston, Texas.
UAB was shut out for the first time since falling to UCF 4-0 on Feb. 24 in a match held at Samford University.
The Blazers fall to 8-11 on the season with a 1-4 record in the league.
UAB's final match of the Conference USA Showcase against Southern Miss has been cancelled. The Blazers previously bested the Golden Eagles, 4-1, in Birmingham on Feb. 3.
The Blazers return to action on April 15 as they host in-state opponent Troy at the UAB Tennis Courts. The match is scheduled to get underway at 2 p.m.
