Manchev Named to Conference USA All-Academic Team

BIRMINGHAM – Nikolai Manchev of the UAB men's tennis team was named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team on Tuesday, according to a release from the league office.
The junior majoring in neuroscience holds a 3.70 GPA and is also pursuing minors in biology and chemistry.
Manchev is no stranger to academic awards, as he was a part of the Dean's List for Spring 2017, Spring 2018 and Fall 2018, in addition to earning a spot on the Conference USA Commissioner's Honor Roll for 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.
Manchev was recently honored at the UAB Green and Golden Globes for his community service hours, as he received the Spirit of Service award.
