Cunningham Named to All-MEAC First Team

BIRMINGHAM – UAB bowling junior Caitlin Cunningham has been named to the All-Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference First Team.
Cunningham joins just four other bowlers in receiving first-team honors.
Cunningham leads the Blazers with 56 game appearances, collecting a total pin-fall of 10,747 for an average score of 191.91 per match. The junior has tallied a team-high 18 200+ games on the season with a highest of 268.
The Hawaii native clinched a Bowler of the Week honor last November after a second place overall finish at the Kat Klash Classic as well as an All- Tournament honor after the first MEAC tournament of the season.
UAB returns to the lanes this weekend, March 22-24, when it travels to Chesapeake, Virginia to compete in the MEAC Championship.
