UAB Football to Host Third Annual Bill Clark Golf Tournament

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB football program will host the third annual Bill Clark Golf Tournament to support the UAB Excellence Fund on Friday, April 5 at Bent Brook Country Club.
The golf tournament kicks off a jam-packed weekend of UAB football as the Pepsi Spring Game is the following day, April 6, at 1 p.m., while the weekend concludes with the third annual Dragon Egg Hunt.
Registration is $150 for former players and $200 for the general public with lunch included. A lunch-only option is available to former players for $25 and to the general public for $50.
Two team packages are also available. The Green Package features four golfers, four mulligans and exclusive Under Armour heat gear for $1,000.
The Gold Package is four golfers, lunch, four mulligans, exclusive Under Armour polos, and your option of a celebrity caddy or the fourth golfer in your group being a UAB football assistant coach.
A part of the proceeds will go towards purchasing the gray and lime green game jerseys worn to honor Children's Harbor. Each year, UAB football wears the names of patients from Children's Harbor on the back of their jerseys for one game, and those jerseys are then donated to the patients following the season.
