UAB and Louisiana Tech Set for 2:30 p.m. Kick on Nov. 23

BIRMINGHAM - The UAB Department of Athletics announced Monday that the Blazers' final home game of the season on Nov. 23 versus Louisiana Tech will kick at 2:30 p.m. CST.
The Blazers currently own the nation's fourth longest active home winning streak, having won 16 straight. UAB hosts UTEP this Saturday, followed by the Bulldogs in two weeks. Two wins would conclude a third-consecutive unbeaten season in front of the home fans.
Louisiana Tech is leading Conference USA with an 8-1 overall record and a mark of 5-0 in league play. If the Blazers (6-3, 3-2 C-USA) can get past UTEP (1-8, 0-6 C-USA), it sets up a monumental showdown at Legion Field on Senior Day.
UAB trails Louisiana Tech 5-2 in the all-time series, but has won both games since returning to action in 2017. Last year, the Blazers left Ruston with a 28-7 victory.
The Blazers return to Legion Field this Saturday for the first time in a month when they host the Miners at 12 p.m. on ESPN3. It is UAB's annual Salute to Service game in which the Blazers will honor service men and women. Fans can participate by donating a $10 ticket to the Tickets for Trips initiative, which will then be distributed to a military member through VetTix.
