Kyle Greenwell Added to Ray Guy Award Watch List

BIRMINGHAM– Sophomore Kyle Greenwell has been added to the Ray Guy Award Watch List, annually presented to the nation's top collegiate punter.
Greenwell is having a fantastic sophomore campaign as he enters the Tennessee game with an average of 42.6 yards per punt.
The Thompson's Station, Tenn., native has 27 punts this year, five of which have gone for 50 yards or more. He has also downed 10 inside the 20-yard line and has forced 10 fair catches.
Only 10 of his punts have been returned for a grand total of 50 yards. The Blazers rank 46th nationally with a net punt average of 39.30, allowing the special teams unit to average 5.00 yards in punt return defense, the 34th best mark in the country.
According to ESPN's Football Power Index (FPI), the Blazers have the 34th ranked special teams unit in the nation.
The Blazers (6-1) face Tennessee (3-5) on Saturday night in Knoxville for their final non-conference game of the season. Kick is set for 7 p.m. EST/6 p.m. CST on ESPNU.
