Men’s Tennis Prepares for Samford and All-American

BIRMINGHAM – The UAB men's tennis team returns to the courts this weekend as it competes at the Samford Round Robin and ITA All-American.

The tournament at Samford will be held in nearby Homewood, Ala. while the All-American will take place in Tulsa, Okla.

Sophomores Roman Postolka, Michal Lusovsky and Daniel Janko will all compete in Tulsa, with Postolka and Lusovsky playing both singles and doubles. Janko will play in only singles matches at the All-American, which begins on Saturday.

The Samford Round Robin is set to begin Friday at 9 a.m. Freshmen Nikola Puric, Parker Bradbary and Chase Parker, along with seniors Tom el Safadi, Giovani Pasini and Nikolai Manchev will all take part in the tournament.

Following this weekend, UAB will be back in action Oct. 17-22 in Auburn, Ala. for the ITA Regionals.
