BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – With good memories on their minds from last weekend, the No. 14 UAB bowling team heads back to Smyrna, Tenn., this weekend to compete in the Columbia 300 Music City Classic hosted by Vanderbilt.

Taylor Russell will look to continue her strong sophomore season this weekend. The Mississippi native has 22 games at 200 or better and leads the team with a 208.91 average. Caitlin Cunningham ranks second on the team in scoring average with a 193.29 and 10 games of at least 200.
The tournament follows the traditional NCAA format with teams bowling five, 5-game Baker matches on Friday beginning at 9:40 a.m., five traditional team games on Saturday starting at 9:30 a.m. and then concludes on Sunday with three best-of-seven Baker bracket games at 8:30 a.m.
20 of the top-25 teams in the NCAA rankings will head to Smyrna while the tournament itself is a 32-team field making it the largest NCAA tournament of the regular season.
