Rifle Lands at No. 19 in College Rifle Coaches Association Poll

BIRMINGHAM β The UAB rifle team landed its highest ranking in program history when the College Rifle Coaches Association listed them at No. 19 the national association announced on Tuesday.

"I am very proud of this team," head coach Lori Goodwin said. "This being our highest ranking in school history is a testament to how hard they have worked. The future is bright for this team."

UAB is off to a 2-1 start through three matches this season. Michael Dietz has been the team leader as he has paced the Blazers through all events this year.

The Blazers return to the range on Saturday when they take on The Citadel at 7 a.m. CST.
