UAB Women’s Golf Completes Day Two of Chris Banister Golf Classic

GLENCOE, Ala. – The UAB women's golf team will enter the final day of the Chris Banister Golf Classic in fourth place after shooting a 311 on day two.

Maria Donado led the Blazers in the second round with a two-over 74 and jumped seven spots up the leaderboard to go into the final round in 10th place.

Kenna Hughes heads into the final round tied for 16th after carding a 79 on day two.

Sydney Snodgrass and Imy Huxley head into the final round tied for 21st after shooting rounds of 81 and 82, respectively.

Juliana Sebastian rounded out the lineup after jumping 15 spots up the leaderboard. The senior shot a 77 in the final round and is in a six-way tie for 25th place.

UAB tees off at 7:30 tomorrow and are paired with Limestone College and Tennessee Tech in the final round.

Murray State takes a commanding 16 stroke lead into the final round while Valentina Giraldo leads the individual competition after shooting a four-under par 68 in the second round.
