UAB’s Homecoming Game vs. Louisiana Tech Set for 3 p.m.

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB Director of Athletics Mark Ingram has announced that the Blazers' Homecoming game vs. Louisiana Tech on Oct. 7 will kick off at 3 p.m. CST.
The Homecoming game marks UAB's C-USA home opener and its third home game of the season. The Bulldogs are the reigning C-USA West Division champs and are currently 2-2 overall and 1-0 in Conference USA. Their two losses came against Mississippi State and South Carolina.
"We are excited to host such a quality opponent in Louisiana Tech for our Homecoming game," head coach Bill Clark said. "There are going to be a number of special events happening at Legion Field that day and we want to re-create the two outstanding crowds we have had so far this season."
Along with Homecoming festivities, UAB will honor families served by Children's Harbor by wearing the names of patients on the back of their jerseys. Click here to read more about the jerseys.
