UAB Football to Host Helmets and Heels on July 21

HELMETS AND HEELS REGISTRATION
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB Football program, in conjunction with the UAB National Alumni Society, will host Helmets and Heels on Friday, July 21 from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Football Operations Center.
Helmets and Heels provides fans an opportunity to go inside the huddle with Coach Clark and his staff as they break down the X's and O's of football and give a sneak peek into what the 2017 season looks like for the Blazers.
Registration includes breakfast and lunch, a Helmets and Heels t-shirt, a chalk talk and drills from coaches and players as well as a tour of the new UAB Football Operations Center.
Helmet and Heels is $30 per person and $20 for current UAB students. The event is for ages 18 and older.
"The UAB National Alumni Society is excited to be part of Helmets and Heels as we get ready for the return of UAB Football," said Jennifer Breland, Executive Director of the UAB National Alumni Society. "We look forward to seeing many of our alumni and friends come out for this amazing opportunity to interact with Coach Clark and his outstanding coaches and players, and to support the team as they prepare for the fall."
The Blazers are now less than 60 days away from making their triumphant return to the football field. UAB hosts Alabama A&M on Sept. 2 with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. Click here to purchase tickets.
