BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Director of Athletics Mark Ingram announced on Monday that the UAB vs. Rice game on Nov. 4 at Legion Field will kick off at 2 p.m.

UAB is currently 4-0 at home this season and leads Conference USA in attendance, averaging over 30,000 fans per game. Β

The contest against Rice is UAB's Penn Mutual Salute to Service game in which the Blazers will honor service men and women who help to protect our freedom.

Fans can participate in the initiative by donating a $10 ticket which will be given to active military members and veterans to cheer on the Blazers. To donate, click here, call or email Michael Emert at 205-934-3161 (memert@uab.edu).

Military members can redeem up to four (4) tickets with a valid military ID at Gate 6A on the game day or can reserve tickets in advance by contacting Michael Emert.
