UAB Rifle Competed at Withrow Open 2017

MURRAY, Ky. - The UAB Rifle team finished in 10th place in weekend competition at Murray State University in Murray, Ky.
Lilly Vonderau paced UAB in the air rifle division with a score of 569 that included a team-best 24 shots on bulls-eye.
Sarah Banks finished second for the Blazers with 653 points, Isaac King took third after shooting a 547, Emily Stover finished fourth shooting 549, and Kristie Lloyd rounded out the Blazers' lineup shooting a 524.
As a team, UAB shot 2228 including 74 shots on the bulls-eye mark.
Murray State took home team honors after firing a 2369 with 172 shots hitting bulls-eye.
The UAB Rifle team returns to competition February 4 with a trip to Spartanburg, S.C., to take on Wofford.
