UAB Beach Volleyball Travels to Spring Hill

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The UAB beach volleyball team continues its lengthy road stand that opens the 2016 season as the Blazers travel to Spring Hill on Tuesday.

First serve between the Blazers and Badgers is set for 2 p.m. CT.

UAB (0-2) is coming off last Saturday’s season opener at Mercer, where the Blazers fell to the Bears 3-2 in both matches of the doubleheader.

UAB’s No. 3 pair graduate student Chelsi Carter and freshman Avery Hoven led the Blazers with an undefeated weekend after sweeping Saturday’s opening match and winning a crucial third set to notch a 2-1 win in game two.

Last weekend, the Badgers competed at the Stetson Spring Break Tournament, where Spring Hill finished 2-3.
