Beach Volleyball Competes at College of Charleston Duals

UAB (2-5) is set to square off in four matches over the weekend beginning Saturday with a doubleheader against Pepperdine and UNC-Wilmington.
The Blazers open the tournament against No. 1 Pepperdine at 10 a.m. CT before facing UNC-Wilmington at 3:30 p.m. CT in the Seahawks' season opener. The top-ranked Waves enter the tournament with an undefeated 4-0 record.
UAB matches up with College of Charleston (3-2) on Sunday for at 9 a.m. CT and closes the tournament against Lincoln Memorial at 11 a.m. CT.
The Blazers enter the weekend after a 1-4 outing at the South Carolina Duals last weekend. Gabbi Moreno and Emily Martinez posted a 4-0 record at the No. 5 position to improve their pairs record to a team-best 6-1.
