Blazer Rifle Finishes Fourth at North Georgia

DAHLONEGA, Ga. – The UAB rifle team finished in fourth place in weekend competition at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega, Ga.
Lilly Vonderau paced UAB in the air rifle division with a score of 579 to finish fifth overall and to help the Blazers finish with a team score of 2208.
Emily Stover was second for the Blazers with 552 points, Steven Bugg took third after shooting a 539 and Kristie Lloyd shot a 538 to round out the UAB lineup.
Dakota Spivey of the University of North Georgia captured the individual title with a score of 1156, finishing with 562 in smallbore and 594 in air rifle. The Nighthawks also won the team championship with a score of 4575.
