Men's Golf in Action at Tavistock Collegiate Beginning Sunday

WINDERMERE, Fla. – Playing its final tournament of the fall season, the UAB men’s golf team will compete in the Tavistock Collegiate Invitational this Sunday through Tuesday at Isleworth Golf and Country Club.
The Blazers are coming off a very successful outing at the Jerry Pate Invitational as UAB placed fourth in a field stocked with Top 25 teams. Taylor Eyster led the charge with a top-5 finish.
“We are looking forward to concluding the fall season at yet another highly competitive tournament,” head coach Mike Wilson said. “We played our most complete tournament at the Jerry Pate and I am looking forward to seeing our team carry that momentum into this week’s play.”
Competing with the Blazers at the Tavistock Collegiate is Arizona, Arizona State, Augusta, Cal, Florida, Illinois, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Florida, North Texas, Purdue, Texas Tech, UCF and Vanderbilt.
Of that field, six teams are ranked in the Golfweek Top 25, including four in the top 10. Headlining the field is No. 1 Illinois, followed by No. 5 Vanderbilt, No. 6 Florida and No. 7 Texas Tech.
