Coleman Named Chair of CCSA Coaches' Committee

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Coastal Collegiate Sports Association named UAB’s head beach volleyball coach Bailey Coleman the inaugural chair of the Coaches’ Committee.
Fellow conference coaches selected Coleman to serve as chair for the league’s debut season.
“Having been chosen by my fellow peers to be a representative for the inaugural season, I couldn’t be more honored and excited about this opportunity,” said Coleman. “I’m extremely humbled by representing the UAB beach program as not only the CCSA Coaches’ Committee Chair, but also as the host for the 2016 NCAA Championships in Gulf Shores, Ala.”
Coleman serves as the coaches’ representative throughout the various aspects of the CCSA governance process.
The Blazers begin their 2016 spring season at Mercer on Saturday, March 5. The inaugural CCSA Conference Tournament is set for April 22-24 in Emerson, Ga.
UAB hosts the first sanction NCAA Championship for beach volleyball on May 7-8 in Gulf Shores.
