Blazers Announce 2015 Cross Country Schedule

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The UAB cross country program announced its 2015 schedule on Tuesday with the season-opening meet just over two weeks away.
The Blazers, who will enter the new season under first-year head cross country coach, Matt Esche, will kick off their 2015 campaign at the Belmont Opener in Nashville, Tenn. On Saturday, Sept. 5.
Two weeks later, UAB returns to Nashville as the Blazers are set to run in the Commodore Classic on Saturday, Sept. 19, hosted by Vanderbilt University.
On Saturday, Oct. 3, the Blazers will be in Louisville, Ky. for the Louisville Classic. UAB travels to Tuscaloosa, Ala. for the Friday, Oct. 16 running of the Crimson Classic.
The Blazers will gear up for the 2015 Conference USA Championships, set for Saturday, Oct. 31 in Bowling Green, Ky. and hosted by WKU. On Friday, Nov. 13, Esche’s team will participate in the NCAA South Regional Championships in Tuscaloosa with the NCAA Championships slated for Saturday, Nov. 21 at Louisville. Ky.
