BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB men's tennis team will face a pair of challenging contests away from home this weekend as the Blazers travel to Norfolk, Va. for back-to-back matches against ranked teams.
UAB (5-8, 0-3 Conference USA) will be looking to snap a three-match skid when they go against No. 66 South Alabama Saturday and then No. 70 Old Dominion Sunday. Both matches will have early start times of 10 a.m. ET.
The Blazers have not played since March 24 when they dropped a 4-2 decision to New Mexico State at San Antonio, Texas.
USA (11-8) fell to ODU Friday by a 4-3 score as the Jaguars saw their three-match win streak snapped.
The Monarchs have put together a 13-2 overall record and 4-0 C-USA mark in duals this season.
