UAB Track and Field Signs Ashley Edwards

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- The UAB track and field team signed Ashley Edwards to a national letter of intent on Wednesday.
In her high school career, Edwards competed in the triple jump, long jump, 100-meter hurdles and 400-meter hurdles, earning Burlington County Scholastic League All-Star honors in each event.
Edwards placed fourth in the triple jump at the 2014 New Jersey State Meet of Champions, and was an All-American in 2014 after placing fifth at the New Balance Nationals.
The New Jersey native rounded out her honors with a selection from the South Jersey Track Club Association to the All-South Jersey team, as well as the distinction of Burlington County Times 2014 Girls Track Athlete of the Year.
