UAB Rifle Takes On Wofford Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The UAB rifle team will head back to Spartanburg, S.C. for a dual match with Wofford on Saturday.
UAB last competed at Wofford for the Southeastern Air Rifle match where the Blazers finished sixth overall, but fourth in the air rifle category. It will be the first dual match of the season for either team.
Freshman Sarah Grace Banks has led UAB in its last two competitions. At Wofford, Banks finished with a 575 and posted a 578 at UT Martin, which included a 100 on the fifth target.
As a team, the Blazers finished with a 2,222 to place fourth in just air rifle at Wofford. Freshman Selina Curren added a 565 and senior Mandy McGee recorded a 564.
