Coetzee, Pinto Set For National Indoor Doubles

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The men’s tennis team will see its final action of the fall this weekend when doubles partners Christian Coetzee and Luiz Pinto represent UAB at the prestigious 2015 National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships.

The event will be held Nov. 12-15 at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing, N.Y. The NIIC is the fourth national championship on the 2015-16 ITA National Tournament calendar.

Coetzee and Pinto earned their spot in the doubles field by winning the USTA/ITA South Regional title last month at Tuscaloosa, Ala. The NIIC features 20 outstanding doubles teams.
