UAB Alumni Society Spirit Luncheon Set For Thursday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - UAB alumni, students and fans will have the chance to hear UAB head football coach Bill Clark speak, as well as enjoy a free lunch on Thursday at the Spirit Luncheon hosted by the UAB National Alumni Society.
The event, sponsored by TherapySouth and held annually to kick off the 2014 football season, will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the National Alumni Society House at 1301 10th Avenue South.
Free food from Dreamland BBQ will be served and select UAB football players are also expected to be on-hand for the lunch. The Spirit Luncheon has traditionally been held on Friday, but this year it was moved to Thursday to accommodate more attendees. T-shirts will be given to the first 400 students who show their UAB student identification.
