Men's Tennis Hosts Old Dominion Sunday Morning

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The UAB men's tennis team will be back in action Sunday when the Blazers play host to Conference USA foe Old Dominion in a morning match at the Lakeshore Tennis Center.
The Blazers and Monarchs will play at 9 a.m. Sunday as UAB plays its first match since last Sunday when it defeated DePaul to take third at the Middle Tennessee Shootout.
UAB enters Sunday's match against Old Dominion with an 11-7 record overall and 3-2 mark in C-USA play. The Monarchs come into the match with a 12-8 mark after falling at South Alabama, 6-1, Saturday.
One of the premiere matches Sunday will be at No. 1 singles as UAB senior Chris Helliar is expected to go against ODU's Carlos Lopez Villa. Helliar is currently ranked No. 80 nationally in the latest ITA singles rankings while Villa is listed at No. 96.
