Spring Game, Blazer Block Party Coming Up Friday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The Blazer Block Party -- which will include UAB football's first Spring Game under head coach Bill Clark -- will be held this Friday, April 18 on UAB's West Campus.
The Spring Game will start at 6 p.m. and will be played on West Campus Field. Following the game, there will be an opportunity for fans to come down to get autographs from the Blazer players and coaches.
Prior to the game there will be plenty of other activities surrounding the event with Blazer Village opening at 3 p.m. Among the family-oriented activities will be inflatables and face painting, as well as appearances by the UAB Pep Band, Blaze and the Golden Girls.
In addition, the UAB softball team will be in action that afternoon as the Blazers play host to Conference USA foe Charlotte at 4 p.m. in a doubleheader.
