Sand Volleyball To Compete In Collegiate Sand Clash Saturday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – UAB’s sand volleyball team will send five players to participate in the inaugural Collegiate Sand Clash on Saturday in Acworth, Ga.
The tournament will include 30 teams from five different schools. Along with UAB the field will include, Georgia State, Florida State, South Carolina and LSU.
The Blazers will send Ally Slaughter, Becca Howard, Rachel Fairbanks, Avei Logoleo and Anna Messisco.
Action as slated to begin at 9 a.m. ET and continue throughout the day as each pair will play several matches.
