Caitlin Watts Named UAB SAOW

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- UAB senior women's golfer Caitlin Watts has been named the Blazers' Student-Athlete of the Week following a stellar opening tournament at the Grizzly Invitational last week.
Watts, a native of LaGrange, Ga., fired a UAB women's golf single-round record four-under par 67 in the first round of the Grizzly Invitational in Missoula, Mont., last Monday. The senior finished in second place in the event after shooting a three-over par 216 through three rounds.
Watts currently boasts a 3.08 in communication management at UAB.
