Men's Tennis Team Will Host South Alabama Friday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB men's tennis team will be back in action Friday afternoon in another battle of ranked teams as the Blazers play host to No. 59-ranked South Alabama.
The match is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m. at George Ward Park.
UAB, listed at No. 65 in this week's ITA rankings, will be playing its third of four matches this week against ranked teams. South Alabama enters the match with a 14-5 record and played its last match at home on April 5 when the Jaguars defeated Troy, 7-0.
The Blazers (16-6) saw their three-match win streak snapped on Tuesday at No. 56 Middle Tennessee (5-0) and then lost at home Wednesday to No. 48 Alabama (4-0).
UAB will play host to Conference USA foe and No. 33-ranked Memphis on Sunday at noon at George Ward.
