BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB men's tennis team is back in action and continues its four-match road trip to the west coast on Tuesday when the Blazers take on the University of Pacific in Stockton, Calif.
UAB (7-5) is coming off a hard-fought 4-3 loss at No. 57-ranked Santa Clara on Sunday as five of the six singles matches were extended to three sets. The Broncos won three after capturing the doubles point to claim the win.
Pacific (3-6) hasn't played since losing to No. 47 Hawai'I in Las Vegas on March 6. The Tigers had their match at Nevada last Saturday rained out. Pacific will be playing its first home match since Jan. 30 when it hosts UAB Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. PT.
The Blazers will have two more dual matches remaining on the trip after playing Pacific. UAB plays at Saint Mary's on Wednesday before closing out the trip Thursday with a dual at San Francisco.
