Two More UAB Football Games Added For TV

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- Two additional UAB football games will be televised this fall, according to an announcement Monday by the Conference USA office.
The Oct. 24 game at Marshall and the Nov. 14 contest at Memphis will both be televised regionally on CSS (Comcast/Charter Sports Southeast). The game against the Thundering Herd will kick off at 11:00 a.m. CT with the game in Liberty Bowl Stadium in Memphis set for 12:00 p.m. CT.
The addition of these two C-USA games for television gives the Blazers four TV appearances at the present time. There may be others added for TV at a later date.
UAB is slated for a national TV broadcast on Thursday, Oct. 1 when the Blazers play host to Southern Miss at 7:00 p.m. CT. UAB's Nov. 21 game at East Carolina will be shown on MASN (Mid-Atlantic Sports Network).
