UAB Football Season Ticket Renewal Process Underway

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The process for renewing UAB football season tickets is well underway and those individuals who purchase their tickets online through the month of June will have an opportunity to win prizes offered by the Blazers' ticket office.
The cost for 2008 UAB season reserved seat tickets is $125 for the general public and $115 for UAB employees and members of the National Alumni Society.
The ticket office has already awarded two prizes thus far to Blazer fans who have renewed their season tickets online.
Dr. Chuck Amsler was the initial winner (a Neil Callaway autographed UAB mini helmet) as he was the first person to renew his season tickets online. Dr. Amsler is a professor in the UAB Biology Department and is currently working at Palmer Station Antarctica.
Dr. Kevin Roth, who is a professor of Pathology as well as the Director of the Comprehensive Neuroscience Center here at UAB, is this week's ticket renewal winner and chose as his prize a Neil Callaway autographed official UAB game football used during the 2007 season.
A random drawing will be made each week with the winner announced on Mondays. The next drawing will be Monday, May 5. The deadline to renew online is June 27.
Winners of the weekly drawing may choose among the following prizes:
1. Neil Callaway autographed collector's football
2. Neil Callaway autographed official UAB game football used in the 2007 season
3. Neil Callaway autographed min helmet
4. UAB Adidas sweater (Official UAB coaches gear)
5. Official UAB Football Jersey
6. Tickets to the Tennessee game to be played in Knoxville
Hard copies of season ticket renewal applications will be mailed out to season ticket holders within the next week.
