BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- The UAB football team continued working towards its homecoming game versus Tulane, by reviewing its game plan and going over last minute details for Saturday's game against Tulane.
The Blazers' 15-period practice lasted just over an hour and head coach Neil Callaway said this has been a productive week of practice for his team.
"It has been a good week," Callaway said. "Everyone has been excited and we're ready to go."
UAB (1-4, 0-1 C-USA) enters Saturday's game against Tulane (1-4, 0-1 C-USA) with a chance to even its conference record, as the Blazers play only its second home game of the season.
"We still have an excellent opportunity to accomplish a lot of things this year," he said. "So there is still a lot left to play for."
Saturday's game will truly be a homecoming for the Blazers, who haven't played at Legion Field since Sept. 15 when they defeated Alcorn State, 22-0.
UAB and Tulane will kick off at 6 p.m. CT at Legion Field. Radio coverage of the game can be heard on the Blazers' ISP Sports Network flagship station WUHT 107.7 FM.
