Blazer Men's Tennis Team Back In Action Tuesday

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ---- The UAB men's tennis team, idle since last Wednesday's loss at No. 30 Mississippi State, will be back in action Tuesday as the Blazers play host to NCAA Division II North Alabama.

The match will be played at the Brook Highland Racquet Club and is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m.

The Blazers, ranked No. 72 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) rankings released last week, were 2-0 before their 6-1 loss to MSU. In dual match victories over Alabama A&M (7-0) and Central Florida (4-0), UAB did not lose a set in shutting out each opponent.

North Alabama will be playing its first dual match of the 2005 season.
