Fan Day Moved To Bartow Arena

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.----- UAB "Fan Day", which was originally slated for West Campus Field on Friday, Aug. 20, will be moved to Bartow Arena to due to the threat of inclement weather, announced UAB officials here Thursday. The event will now be held inside Bartow Arena from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Tentatively, the UAB football scrimmage is still set for 5 p.m. on West Campus Field, weather permitting. Drinks will be provided and food will be available for all the Blazer fans in attendance. There will also be inflatable games and fun activities for college football fans of all ages. Beginning at 6:30 p.m. fans will be able to meet the Blazer football team and get autographs inside Bartow Arena. Admission and parking are free, so bring your friends and family for an exciting night of Blazer football as we kick-off the 2004 season.
