Gametimes Set For 2003 UAB Home Football Games

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. ----- UAB has announced its kickoff times for its 2003 home football schedule.
The Blazers will play their first two contests this fall at Legion Field - Sept. 4 vs. Southern Mississippi and Sept. 13 vs. Troy State - with 6:00 p.m. start times. The game with the Golden Eagles will be played on a Thursday night and televised nationally by ESPN2.
UAB's three remaining home games (Oct. 11 vs. Cincinnati, Nov. 1 vs. Army and Nov. 8 vs. Tulane) this fall will all kick off at 3:00 p.m. CT.
In addition to the home game starts, the kickoff times for six of the Blazers' seven away games have also been determined. UAB opens its 2003 schedule Aug. 30 at Baylor with that game slated to begin at 6:00 p.m. CT.
The remaining away game schedule and kickoff times are as follows: Sept. 20 at South Carolina (7:00 p.m. ET), Oct. 4 at Memphis (1:00 p.m. CT), Oct. 18 at TCU (6:00 p.m. CT), Oct. 25 at Georgia (TBA), Nov. 22 at South Florida (7:00 p.m. ET) and Nov. 29 at Houston (4:00 p.m. CT).
Kickoff times listed are tentative and subject to change.
