Men's Tennis Finishes Play At ITA All-American

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ----- The UAB men's tennis team concluded its play at the 2003 ITA All-American here on Sunday, as the Blazers two remaining contenders fell. UAB dropped its final two matches.
Sophomore Kristijan Mitrovski lost in the singles round of 16, falling to No. 1-seed Lee Walker of Memphis, 3-6, 6-4, 6-2. In doubles action, Mitrovski and Maier were defeated by Tim Krebs and Colin Purcell of Miami in the round of 32, 8-2.
The Blazers will take some time off before beginning play at the ITA Regionals in Memphis on Oct. 16.
