Men's Tennis Captures Doubles Championship At Chattanooga

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. ----- UAB's duo of Andre Maier and Kristijan Mitrovski won the Men's A Doubles title in the final day of competition at the UTC Baras Fall Classic here on Sunday. Sophomores Mitrovski and Maier defeated Rodney Rapson and Vedran Sirola, 8-5, to capture the title.
In the men's A singles final, Mitrovski fell to Brett Johnson, 6-1, 6-3.
Next, the Blazers return to Chattanooga for the All-America Championships beginning on Oct. 3.
