Blazer Football To Hold Gridiron Class Sunday, August 18

College football fans will have an opportunity to get an inside look at the Blazer program when the UAB Special Studies and members of the Blazer coaching staff holds, "UAB Football: A Gridiron Classroom," on Sunday, August 18.
The class will be held from 3:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. in the UAB Football Meeting Room, Dowdy Building, 715 11th Street. The class is free, but registration is required. Fans may sign up and reserve their spot by calling 934-8263.
UAB head coach Watson Brown and members of his staff will be on hand to give participants an informative, "behind-the-scenes" look at the daily operation of a Division I-A football program. Among the topics which will be discussed will be recruiting, strength and conditioning and equipment.
The Gridiron Classroom is being co-sponsored by the UAB National Alumni Society and UAB Athletics.
